Sculptural series WORLDS UNKNOWN

Kolya Dykhne created the series "Worlds Unknown" for Booroom Gallery. This is a fantasy on the theme of portals to other worlds, which are presented in a pseudo-cartographic way. They include sets of images of fictional objects, abstract symbols, various graphemes and pictograms. Made of wood in the form of peculiar ciotes (similar to the ciotes of ancient icons), these "portals" form a closed, but at the same time variable composition. The symbols that fill the composition form a puzzle without a single correct answer - like a dream that has no definite interpretation. The set includes 5 wall sculptures.
