Philosophy
BOOROOM GALLERY was founded by Irina Budtseva-Vinitskaya and Maxim Vinitsky in 2014. From the outset, the gallery has bridged the worlds of art and collectible design, regarding them as two equally significant disciplines. This dialogue shapes BOOROOM’s programme and informs its evolution on both the local and international stages. The gallery’s collection brings together works by artists and designers from the 20th and 21st centuries. Many of the featured creators are well known to collectors, museums and cultural institutions, with their works held in prominent private collections worldwide.
BOOROOM actively contributes to the creative process, viewing art as a form of communication in which the ongoing exchange between artist and audience is as vital as the artworks themselves. The gallery acts as a mediator, connecting people and ideas, bringing different perspectives into dialogue, revealing new meanings and contexts.
