LA REFLEXION

The  La réflexion  series is inspired by the natural world. Following the architect’s vision, marble, onyx, and volcanic lava acquire new properties that are contrary to their inherent nature — stone becomes pliable and flowing, mobile and mutable. The gentle curves of the forms invite touch, evoking the texture of the material, the porousness of lava stone, and the cool smoothness of marble. “These are objects born from thought: the most beautiful things in this world are created by nature. Something light, yet dense. Like a wave, like a sculpture, like frozen fabric. For me, it is thought, reflection, la réflexion,” explains Ariana.
