DREAM CATCHER 2026
Continuing the theme established at the Cosmoscow 2026 fair, BOOROOM GALLERY presents a new exhibition project, Dream Catcher, in which contemporary art and collectible design serve as equal forms of exploring the world. BOOROOM plays an active role in the artistic process, viewing it as a form of living communication where the direct dialogue between artist and audience is just as important as the artworks themselves.
Working with artists whose practices are centred on the object, BOOROOM continues to develop collectible design both locally and internationally. Works by Hubert Le Gall, Ksenia Breivo, Ariana Ahmad, Charles Kalpakian and Yuxuan Huang stand as genuine sculptural events. Here, functionality does not preclude an object’s artistic nature: its value emerges through material, the expressive character of its form and the narratives embedded within it.
The works of artists working across different media are brought together through a number of shared ideas. Daniela Busarello “reads” the spirit of a place through natural artefacts, approaching the landscape as a carrier of memory; Kolya Dykhne turns to monuments of ancient cultures in search of universal symbols; Li Chevalier works at the boundary between figuration and abstraction, transforming landscape into a space for contemplation. Together, these practices reveal a type of artist capable of reconstructing reality, bringing disparate elements together and restoring complexity and depth to our perception.
Dream Catcher refers to a state of heightened attention — a slower, deeper way of looking at the world that allows us to grasp what would otherwise slip away. It is a process of focused observation in which the invisible gradually becomes perceptible, experienced and given form.
