COSMOSCOW 2025 X Creative Impulse

COSMOSCOW 2025 X ТВОРЧЕСКИЙ ИМПУЛЬС

Booroom Gallery opens its new exhibition season together with the start of the 13th International Cosmoscow Art Fair 2025. The project unfolds across two stages: this year, the gallery’s space and its stand at Cosmoscow host two mirror exhibitions. Together, they bring into dialogue the works of modernist architect José Zanine Caldas and Brazilian artist Daniela Busarello, pieces by French designers Christophe Delcourt and Hubert Le Gall, alongside pieces created by Lena Solovyeva, Ariana Ahmad, Seung Woo Chung, Rui Matos as well as other artists and collaborators of Booroom.

At the heart of both parallel exhibitions lies the notion of creative impulse — a generative force that allows one to make sense of life’s inherent chaos. Personal vocation is what fills existence with meaning. The process itself matters no less than its outcome — the grounding act of working with material, the connection to place and time, the dialogue with the past, and the attempt to imagine a possible future. Equally vital is the afterlife of an artwork: its continued presence in time and space, and the way it resonates within human experience.

Each artist represented by Booroom offers a distinct vision, yet all share a sensitivity to what is ephemeral. Their works capture fleeting moments — memories of the present, crystallised in texture, form and material. These functional objects exist at the intersection of art and design, transcending genres and techniques in pursuit of the artist’s idea. Together, the two exhibitions form a unified space for reflection — a dialogue on time, creation and the ways in which we might find harmony within the chaos of being, offering to each viewer a deeply personal encounter.
