On October 24, the Cosmoscow contemporary art fair opens at the Timiryazev Center. Booroom Gallery takes part for the 5th time in the Design section.

The concept of the Booroom Gallery booth is a close study of the nature of stone, a meditative search for new meanings in the combination of natural and man-made. The display is built on the resonance of objects with each other, with space, with history. It utilizes the principles of the Japanese philosophy of admiring stones, creating an invitation to seek wisdom beyond books, in the elements and patterns of nature, and in the little things that are usually overlooked. Artists and designers do not impose a form on this millennia-old material, but rather let it emerge spontaneously. The contrast of stone and its various states with other mediums reveals its beauty and versatility.

The display captures all the states and manifestations of the stone, transforming its nature — a continuous dialog between past, present and future.
