Booroom Gallery x Design.now Award

The La Réflexion series by architect Ariana Ahmad has been awarded the annual Design.now 2025/26 prize by INTERIOR+DESIGN magazine in the Art&Design category.

The La Réflexion collection is inspired by the natural world. Following the architect’s vision, marble, onyx, and volcanic lava acquire new properties that are contrary to their inherent nature — stone becomes pliable and flowing, mobile and mutable. The gentle curves of the forms invite touch, evoking the texture of the material, the porousness of lava stone, and the cool smoothness of marble.

“These are objects born from thought: the most beautiful things in this world are created by nature. Something light, yet dense. Like a wave, like a sculpture, like frozen fabric. For me, it is thought, reflection, la réflexion,” explains Ariana.

Objects from the La Réflexion series were also presented by Booroom Gallery as part of PAD 2025 and PAD 2026 displays in Paris.
