Booroom Gallery x SAMPLE x MMOMA

Booroom Gallery took part in the ”Sreda Obitaniya” (“Habitat”) exhibition at the Moscow Museum of Modern Art, open from September 9 to October 30 at Petrovka 25. The project, held in collaboration with Sample Gallery, was included in the parallel program of the blazar and Cosmoscow autumn fairs. The exhibition brought together works of art and collectible designs created by contemporary artisans and artists. The exposition featured three items from the Booroom Editions series — Alexander Orlov’s Ember of Hope chair, Xenia Breivo’s Vake shelving unit, and Lena Solovieva’s console from the “Item 1/1” series.

Booroom Editions is a limited edition series of custom objects created for the gallery. The emergence of the collection was a natural consequence of continuous practice and experience in the field of art and collection design. All pieces made by artists personally or in collaboration with the best craft ateliers are characterized by timeless aesthetics, the desire to find their own unique language and attention to the material.
